My name is Cécile Raynor. For the past 30 years, I have been writing and speaking to bring awareness around the cultural unconscious misconceptions we inherited around movement, posture, and self-image from the beginning of modern fitness. Also, inspiring people to reclaim their Integrated Self, I have been helping them to reduce or eliminate chronic muscular tension and pain, joint issues and headaches as they reclaim ease of movement, improved posture, as well as the joy and peace of mind brought by wellbeing.
My work is based on teaching the Alexander Technique which is the best-kept secret of famous performers and Olympic artists. They swear by it because it allows them to perform at their highest potential with optimal safety. This work is now successfully used by countless people.
I also became a Thai Yoga therapist and a Reiki practitioner to offer a full spectrum of value to everyone and I use different complementary skills to better serve a wide range of students.
Over the years, I have developed the Body Intelligence Activation Process™ or BIA Process™. On a basic level, I teach people how to activate their body intelligence to promote the integrated functioning of all body parts to relieve or prevent chronic tension and pain as well as avoid injuries. On another level, I promote the integrated functioning of our inner voices to create more peace and joy and develop increased emotional intelligence and wisdom.
The BIA Process™ is a mind, body, heart, and soul work that positively affects people in all aspects of their life with increased comfort and confidence in themselves so they can live their life more fully.
My practice consists of private and group sessions, both in-person and online format, including a LIVE Online Course. I work with people from all walks of life whether they are individuals or professionals, including health practitioners and yoga teachers. One of my specialties is guiding people how to exercise or practice yoga in an integrated way so they avoid strain and injuries common to the practice of modern hatha yoga and modern fitness. As a result, I was led to publish The Wise Way to Yoga in 2018 and now working on completing my second book Body Wisdom Magic.
So, out of my life experience, personally and professionally, I have been inspiring and guiding people to experience the lightness of being and to dance the joy of wholeness for optimal wellbeing on all levels of life.
All I love to do like being in nature, meditating, dancing, drawing, painting, listening to music, playing the piano, gardening, hiking, kayaking, traveling, and more, has always informed my way of being and working, which is why I love my work and love the people I work with.
